So a week and a half ago I acquired an adult (5 year old) female diamond.
She is now housed in a big 3ft x 3ft exo terra, with branches, UVb light and heat mat (thermostat controlled).
Recently she has been VERY active. More active than any other snake I've owned. She's climbing all over the place, up and down like a yo-yo, and can't sit still!
She appears to be in great health.
Is this normal? Is she in season and looking for a mate?
I've heard that diamonds are pretty active but just want to check if this is normal.
