Im from Perth and i have just received my licence from CALM it is app $100 for 3 years for a catagory 3 licence, With a catagory 3 licence you can obtain southwestern carpets and stimsons with a WA origin these are the only snakes avalible with this licence. Ofcourse you can go higher and try for a catagory 4 but you will need refrences etc and then you can purchase a black headed python aswell as the previous 2 snakes I mentioned.
As for breeders they are all waiting for council approval from what i have been told before they can start supplying. I have been on the list for a while and will keep you informed as breeders become approved. Prices as you can imagine are going to be high coz of the demand ofcourse and will probly be around the $800-$1300 mark, this ofcourse will drop after sales becomes steady (i hope). :wink:
