While herping in the very centre of QLD, I came across four individual dragons (different times) and got a few snaps of each. I've been told they're Ta-Ta or Gilbert's Dragon however i know the Burns' Dragon lives in the same area and to me it looks more like one of these. Can you give your opinions please? I couldn't attach the photo's so here's their URL's. Hope they work, please let me know if they don't.

One: this is the wee one, very cute:

The photos work! but im sorry i dont know anything about dragons :( They are cute tho!

Hello Colletts ,
They all look similar to the Two Lined Dragon, Nobby Dragon and a Jackie Dragon =]
But i am Not very good at identfying Dragons :( sorry , i hope that gives you a rough idea

FNQ- the baby one? out of all of them i reckon he's the hardest to tell coz he's so little! the third one to me looks like a burns' however i don't know about the last. yeah he does look similar to a nobbi dragon Nikki, and they do live there too.

Sorry Kirrily, I'm absolutely hopeless with distinguishing between those central QLD Amphibolurus species. I would hazard a guess at the following though -

1 - Young Gilberts
2 - Adult female Gilberts
3 - Burns
4 - Burns female?

Thanks Jonno. I reckon the third is a Burn's too and the second is a Gilberts but i'm stuffed if i know the other two!!
