Whats required to own a Brown Tree Snake?

    Due to these snakes being classified as Venomous....are you able to own them on a stand QLD Recreation Reptile Licence or are there special requirements?

    All you need is a standard recreational license here in Queensland.

    they are cat2 in nsw I believe, another reason to migrate up there... lol

    No they aren't. A lot of people actually consider them a reasonable starter when considering getting into elapids because although they are venomous, it is incredibly unlikely that you would die from a bite.
