I have 3 Banded Knob Tailed Geckos, and one of the females looks gravid. She was digging in the sand last night too. They have had 3 clutches already this season but i found them too late and they dried out. I will get them in time this time but i only have a small chicken egg incubator, how do i put them in there, should i put substrate in the incubator as a medium? If so what, sand, sphagnum moss? Do i spray them in the incubator, Should i give them a nest box today for them to lay in? With what in it? Or do i let them dig a hole and lay in the sand? Do they ever lay infertile eggs?

Get yourself some good books such as Keeping Australian Geckos by Rob Porter, Keeping and Breeding Australian Lizards edited by Mike Swan, and A Guide to . . . Australian Lizards in Captivity by Dr Danny Brown. They'll answer all your questions and then some.
