I just offered my carpet a fresh killed small adult mouse, and she ate it. This is also the first time I fed her out of her enclosure. Now this is the part that impressed me, at the store the mose looked an ok size, but when I had the snake in the box with her I thought I had made a mistake. I watched the snake sniff around a bit before finally taking a shot at the mouse. It took her 35 mins to get it down, and damn was it a struggle, but she did it and seemed like she was looking for more. She has a healthy lump in her now. 8) Her pattern is stretched out and she lookes like a stuffed sausage. Nature is great. This made my night, just thought I would share.

Congrats Moses,
Am I right in thinking what you thought was a small mouse was actually a big one compared to the size of your snake?
Its a real suprise the size of the prey item a snake can consume.I have seen a pic of 9 foot coastal eating small wallaby.Truely extroadinary in my opinion,and it will never cease to amaze me.
