Howdy..

I've recently moved my yabbie from outside into a fishtank into my room and I was just wondering...I've got a basking light that I'm not using, could I hang that above the tank and just have it on for a few hours to get some proper light in there and also heat it up a little too?
He's currently that blue/brown color from being in cooler water, so I thought if it was heated more that he would be more the pinky/red color.

Any other advice on what to do would be good too!

Depending on what sort of yabbie, if its just the standard common one, the only way to make it pinkish to red is cooking it. Mmmm

yabbies like the cold water dont heat the water up ......yabbies die when the water is to warm......
