your opinion on blue tongue lighting

I have a Centralian blue-tongue and have no UVB for it but I hear they don't need much so I did this i this enough UVB?

The UVB from my Beardy goes down into the bluey cage as well is this enough UVB or should I get one for it

UVB will not penetrate the glass of either enclosure.
Bluetongues need UV for the exact same reason as beardies. They need to synthesise vitamin D3, to help in absorbing calcium.
UVB lighting is essential to avoid metabolic bone disease and calcium deficiency.
You should definitely get a UVB bulb for you bluetongue.

UV rays dont go through glass so your set up is doing absolutely nothing for the blue tongue. Definitely get it its own uv light.

ok thanks guys you can never trust the pet shops is three months without UVB going to have lasting damage? will get one asap

as said UV does not travel through glass,
id get one pretty soon incase it doesnt start getting MBD let alone if it does already..
