RSPCA (and The Age) seem to really have it in for Melbourne's zoos. Me thinks we need to keep them away from herpetoculture!

I don't think that taking these animals home for personal enjoyment is a good idea.

They're licensed to be kept in a Zoo for a reason. It's when people start do these things that things start to go wrong.

I think they would argue that it was suitable use of the zoos assets at an important fund raiser for the zoo.

It wasn't a 'private party'
