Wondering if these are Macquarii.

And this one? possibly Saw shell ? from the tablelands around Cairns.8T5A4164.JPG

Hey mate, top pic is a pair belonging to the Emydura complex, bottom pic is a Saw-shelled turtle.

Would love to see pics of the wild jungles kickin round your block.

Yeah so would I.
We live smack bang in the middle of Sydneys Northern beaches latest covid outbreak.
Inspected the julatten property a day after the last border opening and bought the place a couple of days later.
Returned to Sydney now cant go anywhere.
Wont even be able to go to the house for settlement.
As soon as we are able to travel then I will be happy to show pics of all the amazing wildlife around the house.

Here is an awkward turtle shot from Warriewood on the Northern Beaches to keep you going.

Benc63, sadly, the Emydura in the top pic look like common macquarii, which have their origin in the western flow Murray Darling catchment. The only Emydura native to the Cairns area are kreffti...which these are clearly not. A result of the poor decisions made in licensing years ago that allowed (and still do) them to be kept.
The warriewood wetlands has an even mix of Emydura, like The ones in your pic, and eastern long necked turtles. That particular one has the nsw coastal Emydura look about it, hard to tell which one without knowing size or dorsal and ventral views.
There is a real mix there too...released pets again, with a Krefft turtle being found on Narrabeen beach after the most recent heavy rains!
