Do you ever look at your pets and think to yourself “You can’t possibly be comfortable sleeping like that!!!

Please post pics if you’ve got them...

@Herptology one of my cats sleeps like that too!

Did you mean bredli or diamond?
Bredli is behind two overlapping panels of glass so it might look like she’s wedged between two flat surfaces, but the space between the panes is just a couple of mm. As for the diamond, there’s enough space for her whole body between the ledge and the glass, even after she just ate.

Speaking of Gamora the bredli, this is her right now. She actually chooses to rest on the thin wire rather than thick bamboo.

Little Fangus, our hatchling Pygmy Bearded Dragon sleeps on his foam backing with his legs hanging, I woke him to make sure he was ok, then took this photo.

But master Maurice is the one who raises questions of a morning... Daily!

I wish I'd been faster with the camera last night, my bossy little girl (6 month of bearded dragon Cleo) was sound asleep on the skinniest twig , honestly it's only about 4mm thick and she weights 70g and was completely relaxed basking there after her feed of bsfl and silkworm with her arms and legs wrapped around it and her chin on the end of the twig and her tail dangling there in midair.

She's got a habit of sleeping while standing up , or planking, but this one took the prize for goofiness.

It's funny, I think every species has a handful of individuals that are just a little different. I have an ELN (Chelodina longicollis) that sleeps completely spread out like a starfish, upside down on the bottom of its aquarium. Most turtles sleep fully retracted into their shells... correctly orientated... This one goes against the grain. It Often basks in the sun the same way.

I've a mate who has an ELN that sleeps vertically, standing completely upright in its aquarium. I do have a photo of that somewhere too, I'll have to track it down. The species is just a wee bit "special."
[doublepost=1565375775,1565375502][/doublepost]One of my Jack Russell terriers has a habit of sleeping in the doorway of the kennel (which is slightly raised) with her head out on the ground... It would be the equivalent of you or I placing a mattress on the ground and laying on it with our head off the edge on the floor... How could that possibly be comfortable?? LOL

Yeh Cleo and Caesar have a pet Woodie too, at least they did til last night when I spotted it and removed it, it's back with it's pals in the Woodie "breeding" tub.

Does he/she ever leap off the fake rock wall onto the naked basking globe ?

Your ackie looks like it's real character....

Luckily, no, but one of them leapt onto the light cable and pulled the whole thing down. It seems that there was a lesson learned there because neither of them tried it again.

And every time they get fed, male attempts to mate with the female, but so far without success.
