hey i was watching man Vs wild on youtube and he was in the kimberly and he was looking for food and he found an olive python. then it looked like he killed it and ate it. i was wondering is that ligal for him to do that because he wasnt really stranded in the kimberly he was only showing what to do if your stranded. thanks
if you type in man vs wild kimberly in youtube i think it was the 4 part near the end u see him eat it
thanks

i dont think that is legal... myabe he got some sort of permission or something? and it shouldn't be done now he killed an olive just for entertainment!!!

if he was aboriginal then i guess thats fine, hey i love monitors but i think id give them a go. but i eat anything i kill.............................. i love you darling.

I just watched it, it shows you him killing the olive (from a distance) by swinging it over his head onto the rocks.

I dont realy like the guy, i watched him drink his own pee on another one.

Armond- Its number 4

thanks im gona watch it now... the pee was disgusting and there was another one where he drank the water from elephent poop!! his weird.

water?

what a goose ! no hat in the middle of the day? & drinking his own pee in the heat is a great way to dehidrate. was that a shadow of a winnwbago in the back ground? so much for being compared to our Steve Irwin bah...

yeah hes so bad. nothing like steve biggest fake i recon i can keep seeing signs of other people and stuff like that. but its also a bit helpful coz he does say some helpfull things if i ever want to go to africa and get lost in the snow by myself :p

ummmm your kidding right?
hes not trying to be like steve.
his show isnt about animals.
why on earth would anyone compare them?

its about surviving in harsh environments, he gets dumped in the middle of nowhere and has a few days to get back to civilization with only a knife and canteen.
he was in the British sas and French foreign legion.
theres an episode where hes in the rockies in America and he eats a grass snake that he catches as well as a rabbit.
in other episodes there isnt food sources like that so he eats vegetation.
its all about what is available and how to sustain yourself until you can find help or help finds you.
it covers all fascists of survival, not just food.

i dont know if he really did kill it, they only showed it from so far back it could quite possibly be something else, also it would be very illegal

Yes. How dare he kill and eat something to sustain himself. How selfish and rude. No other people ever do that. You eat steak? How would you like a pin through your brain and your throat slit? You wouldn't. But it happens.

As for the illegality, he said in a 'survival situation' the law states you can kill and eat to survive. His show is all about being in a 'survival situation' which leads me to believe that he probably was allowed to

I've watched a couple of his man v"s wild episodes where he makes his customary rafts..Does he make one for the crew, or is there a boat convieniantly stashed at the pre selected point on the map?

Wow now that's something that seems like Fun.... NOT!!!

Is it true that unless your a Native your not allowed to hunt and fish??
Randy

Yeah in areas like the Kimberely's only indigenous people are allowed to hunt and kill. Fishing is still OK for anyone in Kakadu though.. weirdly.. The only exception to the rule, ravensgait, is if you're stranded and you're in a survival situation.

Blindsnake, yes, the crew have food and gear and stuff provided. After all, the show isn't what to do when your camera crew is stranded. They're only there to film HIM
