Advice for Childrens Python

Hi

I've been researching the Childrens Python for a few weeks as I am looking at owning one but have not owned a snake before. Any tips that may be useful outside of the basic stuff?

Don't put them into a blender, and if you accidentally do, remove them immediately and ensure the blender isn't turned on first.

You will enjoy the Childrens Python, they have a very good nature and have a good personality. They are an ideal first Snake and very hardy. Only tips I could give is get the Husbandry right and they will be happy and healthy. I have two Childrens and two Stimson Pythons and all are happy and love to be handled. Find a Good Reptile Vet and if you are unsure about anything, give them a call and most will give advice freely. Most people here are very helpful but at the end of the day, a Vet is the best person to speak to and learn from.
