Recently purchased 2 secondhand melamine enclosures.
1200 long
900 deep
480 height

Both came with glass and light/heat fittings.
Came up a treat with a clean, F10 etc, still need to silicone.

Now, these are big space wise.
if I kept them as they are, I would need a table/bench or something to bring them up to a decent height (back issues mean I can’t be bending down all the time)

Obviously have no idea what to put them on to raise them up, that doesn’t cost a fortune. IDEAS please?

And if I did that, can I stack them directly on top of one another (cords come out of the side)?

Or can I turn them on their side, move light/heat fittings (no biggie as I’m buying new heat lamp fittings anyway)

I have an Albino Darwin, and plan on getting another Darwin soon, being arboreal I figured height would be good, but then I’m stuck on what to do with the front opening,
And if I had them on their side, would I need a brace to strengthen it?
(I’ve put them on their side and they aren’t wobbly at all, but…)

Ugh, decisions decisions.
I got these for a great price but now I’m stuck with what to do.
Have basic skills, usual tools, and a drill, but I’m obviously not a handywoman.
😂
Pics are as advertised, after cleaning etc to test out the size, and then on its side.
(No hurry, as my Albino has his own fully functioning enclosure, but wanted to go bigger.)

yes you can stack them, If you're not handy or have a friend who is, you could put them on milk crates , fruit boxes etc. to get them to workable height. Don't put them on the side. wrong dimensions for Darwins, we used to have a Darwin and the 1200 long is fine . Don't forget to put light cages in...you don't want to burn your pythons

Gday Snapped, mate personally wrong size for carpets, good size for dragons or antersias(stimsons, children etc). Carpets need height, 1200high x 900wide x 600deep is good size for carpets, consider selling or swapping but wouldn't put my carpet in that. This is my project at moment for my diamondResized_image002_139342467441372.jpeg
