Good evening my pets, I have a quick question for yall. As pythons grow larger, does the process of shedding slow down? My Monty boo still sheds frequently, and with no problems at all, but with the last few sheds, the time from having cloudy eyes to actual shed is quite a bit longer. It used to take 4-5 days, now it takes over a week. Is this because he's larger now, or am I failing at my python keeping skills and doing something wrong? Nothing about his lifestyle has really changed to really alter anything, other than his meals being larger, and he's still his Monty self.

Danke.

Awesome! Thanks guys. I just keep checking every morning (yes I am that cheesy that after years of having him I still get a big squee ball inside when he sheds), but every day he's still curled up waiting patiently.

How frequent do animals shed from hatchie to adult? Do particular species shed more than others?

I would be interested to get information on this ?
