hey everybody. Recently my Centralian carpet python (or Morelia bredli) has lost its appetite I know that it could be cus it's just full but I've had it for roughly five years now and it has always eaten rather well so I'm not sure if it is cus it full. Is it maybe freezer burn, should I space out its feeding times, or maybe just put the rat in hotter water? of course, there's always an alternative... i'm just being paranoid.

if anyone has any advice or information i would be very gratefull. btw i wont be hurt if you just think im paronoid.

I might be reading this wrong, but please tell me you are not feeding your python rats when they are still frozen.

Could also be still comming out of brumation. My central has still not eaten since April. He is over ten years old and this is normal for him. My same age coastal hardly stops eating over winter.

lol sorry i should reword it i DO thaw out the rats but when i said freezer burn i meant as in not thawing it for long enough. Sorry about that but thanks for your opinion about it being brumation i think your right

First time trying to feed my Miurray Darlings last night in about 6 months or so. Thankfully both ate.

As Tinky said though, you Bredli could still be coming out of Brumation.

May also depend on how you are thawing the Rats out and if they're warm enough.

What are your enclosure temps like and what are the outside temps like?

Has been too cold here up until (31 yesterday, 35 today , 34 tomorrow).

thanks and i think the tempurature has been from 20-25 for the past 1 or two weeks at east where i live
