i have never heard of anyone in qld keeping them so are they legal in qld?

kool, are rocket frogs and those green and golden bell frogs in captivity?

golden bells might be hard to get, rockets should be able to be located

I don't think anybody keeps them in the tropical areas of Aus because (at least in darwin) we have hundreds of them running around in the wild.

Up here the NT parks and wild life are encouraging keeping native frogs because of the threat they are under from cane toads, I think it is even legal to take wild caught ATM.

If u dont have a "licence" you can catch 2 and keep them alslong as you release any you breed. You might have to catch them on your own property but not too sure check with qnpws first.
Or you can buy them if you have a permit.
either way if they live naturally in your area your better of with a frog pond in your yard if thats possible, that way you get snakes too :D

Has anyone got any giant barred frogs in captivity(for legal sale)?
