We now have 5 Woma hatchlings, they look healthy, very active, the only problem is they strike at presented food but continue to miss. Not one can grab & hold on to the food. What can we do to help them eat

It is most probably defensive strikes. Something most hatchlings do as anything that moves in front of them that early in their lives could be a potential predator.
How old are they? Womas and Blackheads are usually a bit tricky to get feeding and I never try until they are 3-4 weeks old. Even then, you might have to use a few tricks to get them feeding.

Thanks for the advice Alan. We think they are around one week in age and we have just separated them from their parents. They are a bit of a surprise.
