Basking/Hot spot temps

Hi all,

Just wondering what the temperature are with different peoples' basking/hot spots.
This is aimed more at the bearded dragon owners as I want to compare with my pygmy temps however any information would be great.

IMO you should go for at least a 40C basking spot, bearded dragons have a prefered body temp of around 37C +/- a few degrees.
 
My basking light gets even hotter than 40* depending on how close you get to it. My cooler end gets down to around 16* some nights, if my beardy gets too hot he moves further down the branch away from the basking light or even goes up the cool end when he's had enough.

I don't know about pygmy's and I've only had my beardy (first reptile) since May. Plenty of info can be obtained from this site.
