Hit with a hammer??

I some times send the enclosures out flat pack - it's just a lot more work for me and its not so likely it will get damaged when sent whole. I.E thermostats, light fittings. Only had one get damage so fare but it look more like they hit the light fittings with a hammer:?

But saying all that yes I'm happy to flat pack.

Why on earth would someone hit light fittings with a hammer? Still avoiding the true issue.
