I am hoping to breeding my ridge tails next year, and I have 2 females and 1 male. One of my females and my male were of breeding age this year but my female is highly aggressive to any lizard or monitor and would tolerate his presence for an hour or two but would eventually have a go at him. I keep her separate from the other two as she has a go at all of them. I was reading about blue tongues and heard that sometimes people put tape over their snouts just for breeding due to the damage the biting can cause, so I was wondering if this could be done with my female.
I was sold her as a proven female but apparently killed a male which is why she was sold. I double checked her sex by using transillumination which helped prove her being a female.
If that cannot be done is there any other tips or advice as to how to get her to accept a male.
