So i got this new little boy and him and his friend have a bump each on them, im guessing its a worm or something like that but i'd like some advice before i take him to the frog specialist near me.
Will he be ok?
His not going to die?
Also the guy that sold him to me said he eats pinkie mice! I dont know if they are aloud to eat them so thought i'd ask that too, he said he hadnt had a feed in a while so i gave him and his friend some crickets which they ate pretty easily.
Sorry about the dodgy phone pic but i STILL havent gotten around to getting batteries for my poor neglected camera haha

Dont know. Looks like it could do with a feed. I've never kept them but I have seen them catch and eat micro bats. So they dont mind a bit of mammal.

We have a few who live on our balcony and they are much fatter.

Pinky mice are fine for them, i reckon they look skinny too. When he said they hadnt been fed in a while did he give you a time frame, look like theyve been a bit neglegted if you ask me.

Awesome, ill heat them up a pinki each, no time frame at all so ill bulk them up as much as i can

pinkies are ok but dont feed them often. once every few months max. their main diet should be just crickets and roaches, silkworms arent bad too. try to coat the food in calcium at least a couple of times a week, vitamins dotn hurt too. roached wood be the food of choice as they are probably the most nutritionous. dont over-do the pinkies or you'll end up with some quite unhealthy frogs. unfortunately it looks like they werent fed that well so feel em up a bit. I wouldn't worry about the lump yet but definetly watch it and see it it changes at all if its concerning you.

You guys are hilarious

Thanks heaps wasgij, got heaps of calcium for the beardies and loads of crickets breeding for them and the geckos. Ill have to get my hands on some roaches as well. I gave them a pinkie each and chucked a couple crickets in hopefully it isnt something bad :(

it doesnt look like anything so try not to stress. But just you wait, your breeding supply of crickets should start to dwindle. Quickly!... these buggers eat, ALOT. If you have anymore questions dont hesitate to ask.

Looking thru photo's on google of what these guys are actually meant to look like has gotten me really worried! The first photo is the one with the bump and the 2nd one is the other littler one. I will definantly be giving them loads to eat, the littler one isnt to keen on food but the big one is a gutts :)
