I have an enclosure that is 135CM long / 80cm high / 30cm deep.

Because it is so shallow I was wondering if it is useless.

I would like to put any type of dragon or monitor in it except a bearded dragon. No geckos.

Have I got a dud enclosure?

Yes, a lizard will fit into an enclosure of those dimensions.
It's not useless, just choose a small species like Mountain Dragon (Rankinia diemensis) or Pygmy Mulga Monitor (Varanus gilleni).

Really!!!
I'm so excited.
I thought it was destined to become a storage area.
So if google does me justice I can get a netted dragon or pygmy mulga (are these the same as the gilleni?)
Just one of each?
I know I could google but because of the narrowness I want to make sure the "usual" regulations are acceptable.

It's understood that it's only 30cm deep which for some bigger lizards are no good but like said above any regular size lizard or smaller would be fine, I would suggest having lots of climbing branches and such to introduce layers for the guy :)
