Can pythons properly digest food while coiled?

Hey guys, have recently gotten a jungle carpet and everythings going perfect but i was just looking across at him all coiled up after eating and was wondering if they are able to digest properly/as efficiently as opposed to laying out straight? i assume it would be worse but then i question why hes doing it haha

It doesn't matter what position it is in as long as the temp is right it will be able to digest it's food
