cheap glass ?

i was wondering if the price i got for some glass is cheap or not i was quoted
2 @ 600 x 450
and
2 @ 600 x 470

4mm thick and polished edges for $95

Doesn't sound to bad. I have found that glass places vary a lot in price. It pays to ring around.

Why are you getting polished edges? This could be adding significantly to the price.

4mm is pretty thin for sheets of that size used in a herp containing situation. Slightly thicker will probably work better.

You could sand them yourself or get them to just take the rough edges which is generally a bit cheaper.
