Hey guys, I’m pretty new to snakes and ended up buying a childrens python. She is around 4 months old and has been smashing pinkies every 5 days so I decided to move her to fuzzy mice. She grabbed it straight away but constricted it for around a hour while just looking around and eventually started eating it. She got it down but has a sizeable lump. I’m just curious if this is normal or if I should stick to pinkies for now until she is abit older. Cheers

That's what they should look like for a couple days after correct size food. Good job, you'll know when to put her up from fuzzies to weanlings because the lump will be hardly noticeable the day after feeding.
