Hi I am considering my first snake
I have seen and handled a 10 month old coastal carpet and fallen in love!
are these a good first snake or is there a better option?
Also what would be the best enclosure setup ? I want to make sure I’m doing it all right!
I’ve had lizards in the past and have been around snakes as a child but I am really wanting my own now!

My Coastal is the most placid snake ever. Feeds well but also easy to handle. When I got him he was the size of a thin pen. Ten years later he is over 12ft.

Note: All snakes are different. While some breeds have a reputation for being "Good" and some have a bad reputation, (looking at you Jungles) there are no guarantees on how your snake will behave.

PS: I recently advertised him in the for sale section, along with a custom enclosure.
