Diamond python sexing question

Hi, I was just wondering on how to sex a diamond python. I have a diamond python about 6-7 months old and don't know the gender. I would like to know for breeding purpose. I have heard that probing can be dangerous for diamond pythons and all snakes for that matter. Does anyone have have any suggestions, thank you

Probing is dangerous if done wrong, otherwise its pretty much the only reliable way of sexing
Go to the vet if you dont have anyone who knows how to do it, ask if you can watch or assist, theyll probably say no, but it doesnt hurt to ask

Thank you for your reply, I don't rlly have any vets around that deal with reptiles and I dont think the vet that I have been too probes snakes I'll have a look though.

Where are you located, definitely use a reptile vet

I'm located in Melbourne, I have been to a vet for a children's python hut they don't rlly specialize in reptiles.

I looked at the thread and that helps heaps thank you.
