what do you guys think of a diamond python as a first snake?

Do your research on them. I would love to have a diamond as my first snake . Hope my wife lets me get one soon.

I did not have a Diamond first but they would be an ideal first python in my opinion, due to their very laid back attitude.

It's a great choice, my first was a diamond and now I have another one. They're pretty easy to keep and nobody can say a nice diamond doesn't look good

yes i will be keeping it inside untill its big enough to go outside then i was gonna get a spotted python

Diamonds make great first snakes for sure. Just make sure you buy off a breeder who doesn't mind spending some time helping you get them set up.
