Hi there regarding turtle habitats would there be any turtles in creeks like this? or do they tend to hang more around rivers, I believe this eventually goes into the Georges or Nepean River.. between Rosemeadow & Appin.. Would love to see this creek more turtle friendly.
After reading more on turtles and pests & threats I see foxes (which there are a fair few around) eat turtles perhaps why I haven't seen any and perhaps they may not be able to lay eggs in habitats like this.. would it benefit if there were crayfish nearby? Apart from the odd water skink and Jacky dragon I haven't seen much other reptiles..
What could take the foxes away? It would be great to remove the foxes for native wildlife to return.
