Hi all, I was thinking about getting a new snake and was considering getting a Carpet Python. I know enclosures need the height over length... My question is could i go with an enclosure size of 150cm L, 90 cm H an 60 cm w, as long as i add plenty of ledges and branches for it to climb?

Depends on age. Carpets like to climb. Mine never goes on the ground. But they are all different.

If only young that would be way too big. A hatchling for example would be in a small tub for the first year.

Can def get away with it though when older.

That's significantly larger than most people use for any type of Carpet. Definitely big enough for an adult.
