Great to be a member of this board, I do not own a snake but my love for the outdoors has got me fascinated with them!

I am from overseas and have particular interest in the central coast and its resident snakes as I hike here a lot and have been lucky enough to see a few different species!

It hasn't really crossed my mind as my partner has major snake fear

When I was younger one of my friends had a garter snake back home, it was pretty cool.

I used to hike loads in the blue mountains and central coast and never seen a snake, now all of a sudden I see atleast one when I out and about,that will do me for now.

They all do tbh mate.

Coming from a country that has very few they all fascinate me.

I can identify local snakes pretty well now but I'm not as good with lizards,I see quite a few in Brisbane water national park, maybe I'll upload a few pics in future so you can identify them?

Not good at it either honestly, but there is a separate forum on here that takes care of that and it's cool if by chance you can post some for identification.
