Feeding question My childrens python is 17months old ……….

My Antaresia is 17 months old he’s feeding on weaner mice can I feed him fuzzy rats ? In comparison ? Now that he’s 90 plus cm long ?

I've seen 'fuzzy rats' from about 8 grams up to about 50 grams.

Should be fine, but 'fuzzy rat' is just a vague label which doesn't give a good idea of the size of the rat. He'd probably take a 50g rat comfortably anyway.

He doesn't look over 90cm long (I'm guessing you're measuring from his shed skin or something, which can give you a big overestimate), but either way he should be fine with a 22g rodent.

If I give such a python 50gr. mice, will it start growing faster or get fat faster? Sorry for the silly question, I'm wondering.
