Hi all, was blessed with 2 days off work this week due to the seemingly never-ending torrential rain we've been having in these parts for the last straight month. Yesterday, whilst I had the day off, I had to be onsite for 6 hours for a training course, stuck in an office watching videos then answering 6 lots of 30+ page multiple choice questions... boring as s**t but today was all mine and the sun was out in all its glory for the first time in weeks and I had a feeling that the local wild turtle population would be taking full advantage of it so I spent some quality time capturing them enjoying the rays.

Picture heavy thread.

Those are some absolutely awesome shots mate!!! You should be proud! I would suck at turtle photography lol
Thanks. There's a lot of zoom utilised in some of those. They came out alright. I need to invest in a tripod though I don't have the steadiest of hands thanks to 18 years as a slaughterman.

Yeah tripods can be useful, but honestly, with reptile photography for me I do better without as I feel like tripods restrict the type of shot that is taken. But I like to go for diversity with my shots so preferably don't use a tripod. Make sure to post more photos when you get more! I love it!
