Instant click? DSLR's have no time lag between pressing the button and firing the shutter if that's what you mean

yea i just wanna know basically if film cameras are still good for herping and how many people use them

I have 9 or so camera's only two of which are digital.
I use some of the Canon EOS 55 for my camera traps and EOS 3's for general shooting.
Digital SLR for just shooting stock images of wildlife but nothing specific.

Yeah (Nikon F50) but only 'cause I can't afford to go DSLR yet.
Can I use my Nikkor AF lenses from my 35mm SLR on a DSLR?
Would be handy to only buy a camera body.

Some lower end bodies (D50 is one I think) you can't use older AF lenses - well, I think you can use them but you loose auto focus on them.

We have a Digital SLR as well as film we will occasionally use the film but mainly we use the Digital.
