I've got a 2m diamond python about a week into shed.
His eyes are blue/clouded and have noticed little to no activity.
When is he supposed to sit in his waterbowl and should i turn on the humidifier to help him or will it just cause more problems?

If his water bowl is big enough for him to sit in, then the humidity should be enough. If you see him in shed, and he appears to be struggling, a light misting spray will help.

If his eyes are currently cloudy, like full clouded to the point that the entire eye is a grey-blue color, in the next few days he will clear up. The eyes will uncloud and the scales may lighten slightly, this will continue for about 2-5 days before shedding (depending on the snake), during that time you may notice him sitting in his water bowl. You should also keep an eye on humidity at this time. That being said my snakes generally don't sit in their water bowl, so I have to watch the tank humidity carefully. A humid hide is another great tool to make sure the shed comes off cleanly.
