First time owner

Hey all
I'm a first time snake owner, i have wanted a snake since i was probably about 10 years old. So now ive dinally moved out of home i have finally got my first snake, its a little stimsons pyrhon
have had it a few days now its just over a year old seems to handle really well heres some photos. I have 2 hides in the enclosude one under the lamp and one at the other end in the cool, i have a 100w purple heat lamp and a thermostat set on 29 deg. Is this a good temp?
Not sure if male or female if anyone wants to have a guess id love to hear you opinion, from what i can read its a female going by the tail.

Welcome to the hobby and APS, I also had to wait till I moved out to start my addiction, damn parents, though recently just moved back home and the snakes came too so jokes on them.

probably bump up the temp to mid 30s. No idea on the sex without probing you can't be 100% sure.
