Fitzroy falls

I hope this is in the appropriate section...Im'having a school retreat/camp at fitzroy falls in the southern highlands on wednesday, thurs and fri. Is the area any good for herps ? And are there some herps specific to that area? Thanks a lot ppl.

I use to work in the southern highlands, Jacky dragons and Eastern Tiger Snakes were common in the area that i worked. Also easern Brown snakes and easern Water dragons, i was further south west than fitzroy falls though should find some similar species

Thx twin rivers ! I will charge my batteries and take some pics if i see any herps..but most probably if theres a teacher around they will freak out and not let me anywhere near..... So usually there aren't many diamonds around?
