Up for sale is a genuine German Shepherd skull that has been imported legally from the UK. It was sourced from an out-of-business vet practice that used these skulls for educational purposes. I am not sure of the cause of death, all I was told was the breed and where it came from. This one is in really good condition, and has been cleaned, degreased and whitened perfectly. A large 8.75 inches long.
There is some damage to the teeth, the very back top left molars have quite a bit of tooth missing from them like they have been broken, and there are two teeth missing from the bottom right jaw however the bone has completely healed over and there is not even a socket present anymore, most likely a birth defect. Many of the teeth are loose in the socket as is normal for cleaned skulls, not so loose that they will fall out but they do rattle. Easily fixed with a drop of glue. Canines have some natural wear. There is also some small neat pen or pencil inscriptions reading 'DH' and 'HO' on the jaw socket/hinges, these cannot be seen when on display however.
This is a perfect addition for any skull collectors, German Shepherd lovers or just as an unusual piece to have on display. A very rare skull.
