getting snakes from interstate

Hiya boys and girls,

If I want to get a snake from a breeder in Melbourne (I am in Sydney) do I need to get a permit or something from NWPS? I know that I need to get one if I bought from a petshop. The difference here is that the snake would be delivered by hand by the breeder rather than freighted up. Does that make a difference?? Any idea on prices and time it takes to get a permit if need be??

It costs $20. I can email you the form if you like. It takes about a week.

Dosnt matter if it is a shop or not, still same procedure.

As above, you need to get an Import License so you can transfer the snake onto your books.
