Hello From Brisbane

Hi everyone

My partner and I are new proud owners of a little hatchie Mac

Just got him yesterday as a surprise for my bf. He absolutly loves him.. Called him Mus

Hopefully will increase our collection to scorpions as well

Any newbie advice anyone can offer would be apreciated and taken on board.

Im pretty sure we are good with the basics but i know there are always little bits of info that always come too late lol

Welcome to APS and Congratulations on getting your first snake .
I got my first snake nearly 2 weeks ago! , she was a month old yesterday.

welcome and congrats.... best advice i can give you is to ask questions and then take all advice with a grain or two of salt. there are many very knowledgible people here, and the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

Best advice i can give you is read the FAQs and relevant caresheets in the 'wiki' section(up the top of the page) and if you have basic questions they have most likely been asked before and can be found by using the search function.

Im not a newbie to forums and i can use a search button.. so no fear of stupid questions (i hope lol)

Future additions should be Scorpions, Turtles, Maybe a lizard or two (blue tounge is what i want) and of course... More snakes

But for the moment we are happy with our Mac and fighter fish
