Help Needed Record Book

Hello everyone, I am really stressed at the moment, about a year or so ago I sold all my reptiles and then my licence lapsed.

I recently went to renew my licence so went to get my record book and I cannot find it at all.

I've always been fastidious about keeping accurate records and responsible for my book but it is literally no where to be found.

Last night I was honest and explained my situation in an email to the appropriate agencies who handle record keeping.

Because this has never happened I am so stressed I am going to get a large fine or something else really bad.

Have anyone else made that same mistake and what will likely happen.

I thought once you no longer had a license you were required to return your record book at that time? Are you sure you didn't return it when you sold all your animals?

Likewise when getting a new license (if you didn't have one) that a new record book would be provided?

What did the agencies say when you talked to them?
