A few recent ones out and about, coastals are in full swing here moving on to their preferred winter habitats, I am pretty lucky that I get to go herping and do wildlife surveys and assessments for work- best job ever.
Interesting ones were a Verreuax's skink around 40 cm long (10cm over average size) and a whopping stick insect well over 30cms.20220223_143439.jpg20220223_203632.jpg20220302_231926.jpg20220302_232438.jpg20220302_224017.jpg20220309_094035.jpg20220309_094319.jpg20220321_214402.jpg20220328_112803.jpg20220121_102747.jpg20220113_155330.jpg20211206_170340.jpg20211003_102409.jpg20210920_093610.jpg

U rippa. Give me wild reptiles over captive ones anyday. I also live in SE Qld and get to do plenty of herping. Havent seen many snakes this spring but found a place with my sons where there are heaps of blue toungue lizards, including babies. We have been doing plenty of catch and release there.
