hey everyone,a few months ago i posted on here mentioning a small hill on the sunshine coast,in between a main highway and suburbia where ive been herping alot.. well the bush is starting to be cleared more and more, and i have seen ALOT of wildlife there, and I fear everything will end up dead.. Since i started herping there i have recorded everything that i have seen. and here is some on the reptile side.
Species ive seen
Lace Monitor's (breeding adults) - x3
Yellow Faced Whip Snake (over a dozen different snakes)
Small Eyed Snake (x2)
Eastern Brown Snake (Hatchling)
Tommy Roundhead Dragon (several sizes)
Burtons Legess Lizard (juv)
as well as kangaroos and echidnas, possums etc.. all the wildlife is now enclosed in an area less than 800 square metres, and the construction keeps taking chunks out all the time.
here's a sample of the habitat.. and some of the animals and the clearing being done.
