Different Sp. of pythons are there?

Or rather how many different Pythons i.e Morelia Spilota Chenyei and Morelia Spilota McDowelli count as two not one.

Obviously not including morphs, also say scrubs for example they come from different parts like the tanimbar, and halmahera and Moluccan but we will count them as one too.. im confusing myself already!

Ive counted 35..

Hey pugs,

Why aren't you classing the tanimbar, halmahera and Moluccan as full species? David Barker does!

gonna get confusing using common names, considering "scientific" names are often also in dispute.
Some that you "may" have missed??....
Bismarck Ringed Python (Bothrochilus boa) yes python not boa
West African Burrowing (Calabaria reinharardtii) perhaps what you refer to as "Calabar"?
Sawu Python (Liasis mackloti & mackloti savuensis)
New World Python (Loxocemus bicolor) "grey area here"
Timor Python (Python timorensis)
Dwarf African (natalensis)
