How to keep coir background clean.

I want to make a background for my frogs and then stick coir on it.

My question is how do you clean the coir when it has been stuck to a background. It is not like you can pick it up and replace it.

Is it just a matter of spot wiping down?

Spot wiping seems to be the only solution...
You can also secure plants like bromeliads to the coir so there's less area for the frogs to dirty.
And if you're planning on real plants & soil in the enclosure then maybe when it comes to watering you can just pour water on the coir & let gravity soak/clean the coir & drain into the soil.
