Hey! I recently moved my woma Python to a new enclosure as she was getting too big for her old one and it’s now been about 3 weeks.
Yesterday when I had her out she was perfect, however today when I went to get her out I noticed a small patch of scales that were paler than usual, I got her out to take a closer look and noticed that along her back and slightly to the sides all had the same sort of patching, the scales also have a stickiness to them, I figured she’s burnt herself on her heat light cage as she has a habit of wrapping around it.
I’ve already given her a betadine bath to help prevent infection however I want to make sure I’m treating the right thing as I’ve never had a snake burn themselves!
