Importing laws

Just a quick query, as I haven't been able to find any related information;

On my wildlife license there seems to be room left for the importation of a couple of reptiles or exotics as they would call them.

If I was to import a bearded dragon, how would that fit into the laws as they are australian natives?

You can import them from other states
But not other countries regardless of whether they are native or not
