Ah good times,

So in a refresher first aid course i had to take today, we were outside in the carpark of the
training complex we were simulating a snake bite victim and all the jokes and mucking around was in full swing with the boys and the rubber cobra we were given when this little dude strolled past to say hello

yellow faced whip close up.jpg

My Id. was a yellow faced whip i think (correct me if im wrong)

but the cries of "its a brown!!" and running by my work mates was some funny stuff.

Just thought id share..

hehehe allways good when a training session does not go as the "trainer" planned....
So ....... did you pass the "what to do if bitten by a snake" part of the course ??

:)

Haha very cool.
That snake is definately a sp of Demansia (whipsnake), not sure if yellow faced though.

I love things like that

Years ago; about 2002 I think; they held a Rip Curl Surf comp at Stockton Beach
Salmon were running so I took my rod down
Everyone laughing but got one in
Rigged it up and latched onto a 3 metre white pointer
Nobody laughing then especially when I let it go

Locals know when salmon are there so are the whites and big bronzies
Rip curl changed the comp dates the following year
