Issue With Posting Pics

Is there an issue with the forum or are some people just incapable of doing it properly? I'm speaking about this thread now (4th post) but this issue happens in many threads, why is it that pictures don't 'attach' properly? Do users not check their posts after they've submitted it?

you have to uncheck a box now... and it works for the user just no one else =/

I've spoken to Adam twice now about it, the last time I did he told me he couldn't replicate the problem. I created this thread http://www.aussiepythons.com/forum/chit-chat-39/trouble-uploading-photos-167110/ out of frustration several weeks ago. Using the advanced posting option seems to alleviate it.

All I did was add a photo from a file and it comes in as above (no boxes ticked in this case - just added from file).

Here's the same photo but added from Facebook (sorry about the NZ snow theme, but it's my most recent):

I copied the image location URL (on Facebook) and unticked the box "Retrieve and store locally" (or something like that) to get this result - can everyone see this?

Clearly I get the 'Attachment' link in my first attempt at the start of this thread... So why is that?

yeah that first link doesnt work... so i guess thats what everyones doing??
